Our big blue Drivers Benefits Vision Van, usually parked at the JFK or LGA cell phone lots, is popular because it’s a special service designed just for drivers.
But since there’s only one Vision Van, we’ve partnered with a few select vision centers to offer:
At least one multilingual staff member.
Parking spaces.
Full understanding of your Drivers Benefits Vision Coverage — so they’ll know exactly what’s included at no cost to eligible enrolled drivers!
Why Visit a Vision VIP Location?
There are many vision providers that accept Drivers Benefits’ Vision Coverage.
However, Vision VIP Locations offer convenient parking and multilingual staff members specifically trained on all of the features of the Drivers Benefits Vision Coverage that are included at no cost to enrolled drivers.
We’ve worked with the staff at these locations to make sure they understand driver concerns and know how to provide those enrolled with the best service possible.

Do I have to visit a Vision VIP Location to get an eye exam?
No, Drivers Benefits Vision Coverage is accepted at all eye care stores within the GVS network, and don’t forget – you can also visit the Vision Van! Call us at 833-814-8590, and we’ll find the most convenient location for you, whether it’s a Vision VIP location or one of the many other participating providers located across New York.

Vision Coverage Disclosures
¹Enrolled Drivers are entitled to a $200 credit towards frames from GVS’ Designer Collection or a $100 credit toward any frame outside of the collection. A selection of prescription plastic lenses such as Single Vision, Bifocals or Trifocals is included at no cost. Certain lens options such as tints, scratch resistant coatings, and UV coatings are also included. In lieu of eyeglasses, GVS offers a 6-month supply of plan disposable contacts or a $100 credit for any contact lens outside of those included in the plan. Certain lenses and coatings are included at fixed costs under the program. A full vision benefits summary can be found here.
²Enrolled Drivers are entitled to an annual examination performed by a qualified optometrist or ophthalmologist. GVS' comprehensive eye exam determines your prescription, and assists in the detection of high blood pressure, diabetes, and retinal and corneal disorders. The exam also includes cataract and glaucoma screening (including air pressure test).
