Becoming a Member of The Black Car Fund

To become a Member Base of The Black Car Fund, a company that provides for-hire service in the State of New York must first meet the criteria of the State Statute from which The Fund was created. In particular, they must be a company that has certified to the satisfaction of the Department of State, that does more than 90 percent of its for-hire business on a non-cash payment basis, and that owns less than 50 percent of the cars it dispatches.
