Reporting an Accident
Hello, I'm Lincoln and I'm here to tell you what you need to report your work-related accident with us. The best thing you can do for yourself is to contact us as quickly as possible. This will help you get the assistance and any care you need so you can get you back to work.
Here is a list of information and documents we will need from you:
- State Drivers License Number
- Your Car Number
- NYC TLC License Number (If Applicable)
- Name of the Base you were affiliated with at the time of your accident*
Accident details such as:
- Where the accident happened
- The date and time the accident occurred
- A description of what happened
We hope that you never need to call us to report an accident and file a claim, but if you do, you can call us during business hours at 212.269.4800. Press 1, , and one of our Claims Assistants will be happy to talk to you and get the process started.
If our office is closed, you can report your accident to us through the BCF Claims app on your mobile device. Alternatively, your can fill out an accident report online, and someone from our Claims Team will call you the next business day.
