Direct Deposit

Covered Drivers of The Black Car Fund who have an accepted Workers’ Compensation claim and are receiving indemnity payments (payments for lost wages due to on-the-job injury), may elect to receive these payments via Direct Deposit instead of by mailed paper check. Claimants who would like to exercise this option and receive payments via Direct Deposit, must complete and submit the Docusign (electronic) form linked below.

Enrolling in Direct Deposit

For claimants who are enrolling in Direct Deposit, please be aware that the Docusign (electronic) form below intentionally does not require any financial information. Once you have completed and submitted the Docusign form, our in-house staff will be notified of the change and will update your file in our claims system. Afterward, our claim payment processing vendor, VPay, will receive notification of this update and they will reach out to you via text or email to securely obtain your banking information for Direct Deposit. Please allow up to 45 days to begin receiving your payments via Direct Deposit.

If you would like to enroll in Direct Deposit, please click here to complete and submit the Docusign form.

Canceling Direct Deposit

If you are currently enrolled in Direct Deposit and would like to cancel this enrollment and begin receiving payments via paper check instead, click here to complete and submit the Docusign form.

It may take up to 45 days for the change to be reflected in our systems and to begin receiving your payments via paper check.

Additional Information

Please be aware that, whether enrolling or canceling enrollment, it may take up to 45 days for the change to be reflected in our system and for you to begin receiving indemnity payments in the manner you have selected. During that period, claimants will continue to receive their payments by check (if you enrolled in direct deposit) or by Direct Deposit (if you have canceled your Direct Deposit enrollment). If you have changed your mailing address, please contact your assigned Claims Adjuster immediately to ensure your file is updated.  Paper checks are mailed via standard USPS delivery.
